Robert has great size, hands, and cutting ability on the field. He also is a very powerful runner with the ball in his hands.


Biography:
2008: Robert Johnson had 48 receptions for 632 yards and four touchdowns in his junior season. He also had 31 carries for 276 yards and four touchdowns. He says he can bench 265-pounds, squat 475 and has a 30-inch vertical jump.

Partial senior (7-2) stats: three touchdowns receiving

Johnson plans to major in either computer engineering or computer science. He reports a 2.5 core GPA and a 15 ACT, which he retook on Oct. 24.

Johnson: “I can run. I’m pretty versatile and play running back some too. I’m quick off the line and I do a lot after the catch.

“I have good timing when going for the jump ball.

“I want to improve my 40 speed. And I need to work on locking the ball in and not start running without it.

“I also want to improve my awareness of the defense.”
