| Nate Kaeding, a kicker out of Iowa, was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the third round, 65th overall. The move was expected when the team secured a second third round pick in the 2004 NFL Draft.
2007
Appeared in all 16 games. Made 24 out of 27 field goals. Averaged 63.3 on kickoffs.
2006
Connected on 26 of 29 field goals and all 58 extra points, earning a Pro Bowl invite for his efforts. Signed a six-year extension early in the season.
2005
Connected on 21 of 24 field goals and all 49 extra points. Had a field goal blocked and returned for a touchdown in a week eight loss to the Eagles.
2004
Connected on 20 of 25 field goals and 54 of 55 extra points. Missed a field goal in overtime of a playoff loss to the visiting Jets. |
