| Very athletic and productive from his safety spot, Motta possesses a unique blend of size and ability. Plays with the physicality of a LB and has the mobility of a DB, which makes him one of the more versatile players in his class. His physical upside and toughness may merit a move to LB, but his ability and production could keep him at safety, as well. Will be a special teams mainstay--Burke Hayes |

2008: Motta was named Vero Beach's top defense player. The three year starter had 134 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, two interceptions, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and two blocked kicks.
He was named 6A FSWA All-State First Team DB, Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers All-Area Defensive Football Player of the Year, Mobile Press Register Super Southeast 120, U.S Army All-American Game.
Motta was named First Team 6A All-State defensive back as a junior. He made 143 tackles and two sacks. He managed one interception and four fumble recoveries and blocked five kicks.
