| GLADES CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL -He was first team all-county, and all-conference.was ranked 38th best prospect in Florida by the Tampa Tribune, and 97th top prospect by the Orlando Sentinel.He played his senior season at Glades Central and had over 200 yards receiving and four Touchdowns, He also kicked a 30 yd field goal. All this in five games due to a deep right thigh contusion. At Wellington High School as a junior Hester was selected to the all-county and conference team despite only playing in four games because of a broken right leg. In those four games, he caught 11 passes for 350 yds and 5 TDs. As a sophmore, he caught 21 passes for 370 yds and 8 TDs. Hester Jr., is the son of former Florida State standout Jessie Hester, Sr.
Hester: "I run good routes and I have great quickness and awareness. I play low and I'm shifty and quick. I'd like to be stronger and more powerful. I'd also like to get faster."
