is an emerging linebacker prospect from Daytona Beach (Fla.) Seabreeze High School. Kelly, 6-3 and 225 pounds, did not play as a junior, yet he still has some big-time offers after a good senior year. This past weekend, he tripped to Tallahassee and Florida State
"I had a pretty good time in Tallahassee," said Kelly. "Sam McGrew and Pat Watkins were my two hosts. My parents came with me and we enjoyed it."
On Tuesday, FSU coaches made an in-home visit with Kelly and his parents. Bobby Bowden will make an in-home visit with him next week.
The weekend before, Kelly had visited Central Florida (1-3). This weekend, he visits South Florida (1-17). Then he has two visits remaining to Florida (1-24) and East Carolina (1-31).
"Right now, I am open. I plan on announcing my decision at my football banquet on February 2nd."
Kelly has a younger brother, Xavier Lee, that will be one of the top prospects in the state of Florida next season. Lee is a quarterback.
