During the course of spring football, there was no question who the best player on the field was when the first teams were battling out on the gridiron. Head Coach Bobby Bowden called senior cornerback Patrick Robinson's performance ‘big-league', and for good reason. The Miami native is looking for a big season in 2009.

With the departure of Myron Rolle and Tony Carter this season, the Florida State secondary was in dyer need of someone to step up and lead the group. The player the coaches would look to was obvious. Patrick Robinson has been a starter at Florida State for two seasons, and when healthy is one of the most feared cornerbacks in the ACC.
