TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State junior Myron Rolle is used to being interviewed but today he will be featured in a venue that doesn’t often deal with FBS football players. Rolle spoke with Robert Siegle of National Public Radio (NPR) for the show “All Things Considered” and the interview will be broadcast Friday on over 300 affiliates and in more than 100 countries.
Rolle has garnered national attention for his decision to miss at least part of next week’s Maryland football game so he could interview for a Rhodes Scholarship in Birmingham, Ala. Rolle is a finalist for one of the most prestigious academic awards and is also a semifinalist for two major awards, The Bednarik Award and The Lott Trophy, for his play on the football field.
