FSU likes Sims as an athlete

David Sims is one of the top overall athletes in the southeast for the 2009 recruiting class. The standout prospect already has 12 offers from a wide assortment of schools, and is garnering interest from several other programs. One school that is getting into the mix is Florida State. NoleDigest spoke to David to get his thoughts on the Seminoles and to see if they are a school he likes.

David Sims is a prospect that can play on either side of the ball on the collegiate level. In high school he is Calhoun County High School's starting quarterback, and also starts in the defensive backfield. As the team's signal caller he passed for 1,500 yards and 19 touchdowns while only throwing 2 interceptions. His ability to be a dual-threat player allowed him to gain 900 yards on the ground...
