Vincent Williams picks FSU

The hits just keep coming for the Florida State football team as they have secured a verbal commitment from yet another standout defender. Davenport Ridge Communty High star Vincent Williams is the latest to do so.

Vincent Williams, a 6-foot-1 and 230-pound middle linebacker prospect from Davenport has verbally committed to play for Florida State it was revealed Wednesday.

One of the state's top linebacker prospects, Williams had 122 tackles as a junior, nine sacks, 26 tackles for a loss, 20 quarterback hurries. He was a Co-MVP of the Combine in Jacksonville in mid-March.

He becomes the sixth verbal commitment for FSU this year and the third linebacker.
