FSU Talks About Kevin McNeil

Kevin McNeil of Kingsland (Fla.) Camden County was one of the least known prospects in the country. However, the 6-foot-3 and 235 pound standout looks like he will be terrorizing ACC quarterbacks for the next four years.

"We think he's a fast defensive-end who played tackle in high school," Coach Jody Allen said. "He's a very good at shedding blocks and he's a guy that likes contact. Kevin is very good a stopping the run and rushing the passer."

Coach Allen loves McNeil's speed and size.

"He's a big-guy that runs in the 4.5-4.6 range," Allen said. "I'm very excited about him."

As a senior, the 1st team all-state standout recorded 39 tackles, 17 tackles for a loss, 11 quarterback pressures and seven quarterback sacks.
