Gators Make Their Move

This past weekend a four-star cornerback officially visited the University of Florida. The previous weekend the Noles hosted the 5-foot-11 and 180 pound standout from Miami Gulliver Prep. Where do the Gators and Seminoles stand?

Patrick Robinson looks to be torn between in-state rivals Florida and Florida State. Renegade Report.com caught up with his assistant coach to get the latest.

"He had a great time on his visit at Florida and I think it toped last week's trip to Florida State," Coach Ron Butler said. "He was hosted by Dorian Munroe who he knows from Miami and the Gators pulled out all the stops. I think Patrick like's their depth chart but he told me once again wherever he goes he's going to take someone's job so he's not too worried about depth."

Did the Gators pull ahead?

"I would say it's 50/50 right now and he didn't get a chance to meet with Florida State last night because he got into late," he said. "If he chooses Florida State, Coach Bowden will come down to visit him on Thursday. Right now it's anyone's guess in terms of where he ends up. I know Anthony Leon is trying to talk him into Florida State."
