Noles After South Florida OT

Florida State, Florida and Miami will be in a battle for a big-time offensive lineman from Delray Beach Atlantic. This weekend the Florida Gators will get first crack at him.

"I will visit Florida this weekend," 6-foot-6 and 300 pound tackle Orlando Franklin said. "I will wrap thing up with Florida State (1/20) and Miami on (1/27)."

Franklin has spent the last two weeks in Jamaica visiting family and he got a visit from Miami tight end coach Mario Cristobal.

"Coach Cristobal came down to Jamaica last Friday to visit me and my family," he said. "He told me that he would be there to help me out."

With the loss of Miami's position coach how does it affect things with Miami?

"It doesn't really affect things too much," he said. "But, it did shock me and it does help Florida and Florida State some. I built a very good relationship with Miami and I'm comfortable with them. I'm also comfortable with the coaches from both Florida and Florida State."
