Florida State got some good news today when a 6-foot-6 and 320 pound offensive lineman said yes to the Seminoles.

“I made up my mind to be a Seminole earlier this morning,” Shannon Boatman of Tyler Junior College said. “It feels real good. I will probably be moving there on January 1st."

Earlier in the week, Boatman got an in-home visit from Coach Bowden and Steele.

“My mom met with them as well,” he said. “They told me that I was their No.1 draft choice and they wanted me to come down and play. They were very cool.”

The 1st team All-American just finished his last final and he’s ready to graduate.

“I’m walking across the stage on Friday and it feels great,” he said.
