Noles Looking at Sleeper DE Prospect

Florida State is looking at a sleeper defensive end prospect form Williston (Fla.) who is having an excellent senior season by leading his team to the second round of the high school playoffs.

"I lead my team in tackles and I have approximately 12 sacks on the year," Aaron Harris said.

The 6-foot-5 and 250 pound standout with 4.7 40-yard dash speed has caught the attention of several schools with his combination of speed and power.

"I'm hearing from Troy State, Florida State, Bowling Green and UCF," he said. "Troy State is coming down for our game on Friday. Coach Allen from Florida State called me two weeks ago on the phone."

Harris, who can bench-press 335 pounds, camped at Florida State over the summer.

"I really like their coaches at Florida State," he said. "I really got to know them at the camp."

Harris, who has a 3.35 grade point average, is looking for a school that will give him a good education.
