Five-Star running back Antone Smith of Pahokee (Fla.) has been to several schools this summer and his latest stop will land him in Tallahassee early Friday morning. He was originally hoping to make it in Thursday afternoon.

“I’m on my way up now,”Antone Smith said. “I’ll probably be getting in around 1:00 or 2:00 AM.”

On Saturday The Territory.org writer Chris Milton will catch up with The Insiders.com No. 3 running back in the country for an interview and photo shot.

Check back over the weekend to find out how the Pahokee standout’s visit to Florida State went.

Smith also made stops this summer at Miami, Rutgers, North Carolina State and Wake Forest.

“I liked all my visits,” Smith told The Territory last week. “They were all equally good.”

Despite missing a good portion of last season with a high ankle sprain injury, he was still able to rush for over a 1,000 yards.

Smith is on track to qualify academically with a grade point average of 2.6 and a 17 on the ACT test.
