Carter's father played hoops at FSU.

<b>Tony Carter </b> is one of the top defensive backs from the state of Florida and that's saying a lot considering the amount of talent in the Sunshine State at both cornerback and safety. Carter, from Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin High School, finished the season with only four interceptions and three blocked punts. That should be considered an exceptional year for Carter considering the opposition didn't really come his away.

"Honestly, it was a boring season for me," Carter said with a chuckle. "I mean that in the sense the other teams really didn't throw my way at all. They would throw to the other side. But I know that helped out my teammates and that showed me respect." With the season done for Carter...
