2015 OT plans FSU visit

Patrick Allen

Reisterstown (Mary.) Franklin 2015 standout Patrick Allen is one of the top offensive tackles in his class. He currently holds offers from Florida, Florida State, Rutgers, Tennessee, Southern Cal, West Virginia, and Virginia and he is receiving interest from many more.

Allen currently has a top six of Tennessee, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Wisconsin. Allen hasn't taken any visits this season, but he does have one planned for January.

"I'm planning to take a trip to Florida State in January if everything works out," Allen said. "They have a really strong program."

Allen has been in contact with several of Florida State's coaches including defensive line Odell Haggins. Allen also says that distance will not play a factor in his recruitment. Allen, 6-foot-5, 275-pounds, is the No. 14 rated offensive tackle and the No. 134 overall prospect in the 2015 Scout 300. Allen doesn't plan on making a decision anytime soon and says that the earliest it will come is the beginning of his senior year.
