Three graduating seniors from the 2012 team have been selected to play in the upcoming NFLAPA Collegiate Bowl on January 19.

Mike James, Darius Smith, and Vaughn Telemaque will be representing the Hurricanes in the game later this month.

James capped off a very solid career by starting all 12 games for the Hurricanes this season. He finished the season with 642 yards and six touchdowns. The former three-star recruit from Ridge Community High, James finished his Miami career with 1,386 yards and 17 touchdowns. He added 585 yards and five scores as a receiver.

Smith was a late addition to Al Golden's first recruiting class at Miami. He was brought in from the Junior College ranks and became a starter for most of his first season here in 2011. He played sparingly throughout this past season and finished his career with 32 tackles and two sacks.

Telemaque came to Miami as a four-star recruit from Long Beach Poly High in California. He played a lot throughout his four seasons here, and started several games for the Hurricanes. The 2012 All-ACC Honorable Mention selection finished his Miami career with 187 tackles and four interceptions.
