FSU-to-SEC rumors popping up again

With Texas A&M all but ready to bolt the Big 12 in favor of the SEC, speculation is again boiling that Florida State could be up next. Here are the latest comments from three of the principals involved.

ACC commissioner John Swofford: "We'll continue to be mindful of the collegiate landscape and what's best for the ACC and its member institutions. With that said, I've received no indication from any of our 12 presidents that they have any intention of being affiliated with any conference other than the ACC."

Florida State president Eric Barron: "There has been no contact on this topic. None. I think the blogosphere is having fun."

Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher: "There's no offer on the table. I have not spoken to anybody about it. We love the ACC. We love the conference we're in."

Of course, NoleDigest.com will have all the latest news, notes and quotes over the weekend if -- and that's still a big "if" at this point -- this is indeed a story.
